Why is Odoo Functional Training required?

Many odoo implementations are not performing well, compared to how it was initially expected; some of the concerns I have seen and potential solutions for this situation which anyone can apply to make Odoo’s impact far better.

“We don’t have a clear idea of our sales team’s performance.”

“Our e-shop in Odoo is a mess.”

“An employee who has been with us for six months still doesn’t know how to register a sales order!”

“Our accountant is struggling to match bank payments with open invoices.”

And the list goes on...

I have heard people say things like this many times.

I often observed that the issue wasn’t Odoo itself but a user's knowledge. During implementation, training was given (sometimes it was even neglected), but as the years went by, new employees joined with no clue about how to use Odoo effectively.

What's the loss for the organization?

🚩 Management reports don’t reflect the real picture.

🚩 Employees waste time figuring out how to do basic tasks in Odoo.

🚩 Frustration builds, leading to attrition sometimes.

What’s the solution?

🌟 Get all your people well-trained with Odoo.

🌟 Identify needs and organize personal training and coaching sessions as and when needed for your people.

Here's how I typically apply this solution in practice:

1️⃣ Role-Specific Training: Let people know where they should focus in Odoo for their day-to-day job and how to do it.

2️⃣ Management Coaching: I organize personalized sessions for leadership teams to help them interpret data, generate insights, and make informed decisions.

The Impact is massive:

✔ Teams become confident and happy, reducing the stress and frustration of using Odoo, and can focus on their core work.

✔ Management gets accurate insights to drive business growth.

Someone rightly said that 'Odoo works for those who know how to work with it.'

Don't wait. Get to know your people now, and you can see what is required to do ...
